Most patients in our practice see their therapist weekly for psychotherapy. Effective therapy will depend on open and direct communication so that you and your therapist can develop a strong therapeutic alliance. Therapy is an active and collaborative process. We will formulate treatment goals together with you to facilitate enhanced feelings of satisfaction and emotional well being.

After the initial evaluation, you and your therapist will both have a sense as to whether this relationship is a good fit. If we do not feel that we are the best person to help you with your particular problem, we will make a referral to an appropriate professional. As you get closer to reaching the therapy goals, appointments may become less frequent leading up to an end of services. We are always striving to improve our services and your therapist will ask you to complete an anonymous feedback survey at the conclusion of treatment.
