The Snow Psychology Group provides psychotherapy services to adolescents and adults across the lifespan. We work with high school teens (14+), college and graduate students, young professionals, mid-life adults, and older adults.
We conceptualize issues from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach within a biopsychosocial framework, meaning that we will explore together with you the thoughts and feelings related to your behavioral patterns and look at this with an understanding of the impact of any biological factors (e.g., physical health), psychological issues, and social factors (e.g., stressors and supports). We also provide Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP) therapy, the gold standard of evidence-based treatment for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Our experienced clinicians also have advanced training in other approaches to therapy, such as Mindfulness, EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, etc, which they will incorporate into your individualized treatment when it may be helpful for you.
We specialize in treating people with psychiatric, medical, and neurological difficulties. We also work with people who feel that overall, things are going well in their lives without significant problems, but they would like to learn new tools to become the best version of themselves that they can be. We strive to help each person grow and develop throughout the lifespan as we are all “works in progress.”
Psychotherapy has been shown to have benefits for people who go through it. Therapy often leads to better relationships, solutions to specific problems, and significant reductions in feelings of distress. Click the buttons below for specific services:
