Shoshana Pearlman is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Maryland (license #13395). She is also licensed in DC and VA.
Shoshana graduated with a Master’s degree in clinical social work from Yeshiva University, Wurzweiler School of Social Work in 2001. She has worked with individuals ranging in age from adolescents to older adults in a variety of mental health settings, including, residential treatment center, outpatient mental health clinics, retirement communities, and private practice. She joined The Snow Psychology Group, LLC in 2013 as a staff psychotherapist where she provides psychotherapy and counseling services to young adults and adults of all ages and also leads therapy groups. She has advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) from the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy. She has also completed specialized training to treat trauma using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She also integrates additional supportive psychotherapies to tailor her approach to each individual and their specific needs.
Shoshana specializes in treating mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, relationship issues including separation and divorce, coping with chronic health conditions (including POTS), adjusting to new motherhood and returning to work, parenting children with special needs, caregiver stress, and difficulty transitioning to adulthood. Other areas of specific experience include issues related to aging parents, grief and loss, and coping with COVID stress. She offers daytime and evening appointments.
Shoshana is a board certified clinical supervisor and provides individual and group supervision to other mental health providers. She is also currently a staff therapist at the Jewish Social Service Agency (JSSA).
She enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.
