Jill Lipton is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Maryland (License #12778).
Jill earned a B.A. in Psychology from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York and graduated Cum Laude. She obtained her Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from Hunter College School of Social Work in 1984.
Jill has had many years of experience helping people with a broad range of psychological difficulties. Employment history includes several settings, including a psychiatric hospital and a decade at an outpatient mental health center (Jewish Social Service Agency) where she was a senior clinician who specialized in anxiety treatment.
She has completed extensive post-graduate training in advanced clinical topics, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) at the Beck Institute in Philadelphia. Currently, she is a staff psychotherapist in private practice at The Snow Psychology Group, LLC providing therapy and counseling services to adults of all ages. She offers daytime appointments.
Jill enjoys spending time with her husband, son and daughter-in-law and their two dogs. She can often be found in her garden, listening to music, or reading.
